Its modern and graphical aluminium structure and sharp lasered profile underline a careful design and analysis, developing in horizontal and vertical lines. The three lighting solutions conceal an LED source and define its profile with a regular and insistent rhythm: two light sources point upwards to create diffused light, and one points downwards, which is ideal for reading.

LAS has a great expressive as well as functional power and it perfectly represents Oluce’s philosophy to wed technological innovation with refined aesthetics: a “new classic” that can slot into a room like a piece of furniture with its own personality. The lamp by mist-o is a sculptural presence modelled from metal paying homage to the great early twentieth-century constructions such as that portrayed in the famous photo Lunch Atop a Skyscraper, of which LAS is the acronym. The emblem of an era constantly suspended towards the future.

Noa Ikeuchi from Japan and Tommaso Nani, Italian, met while they were attending the Istituto Europeo di Design and started working together to various projects, some of which were soon exhibited at Salone Satellite, Triennale Design Museum, MOMA design store, and also started to collaborate with prestigious design brand. In 2010 they established toghether their own office named Mist-o, based in Milan and Tokyo, working in different field from Interior design to art direction and graphic. The studio collaborate with design brand such as Antolini, Atipico, Cappellini, Ex-t, Frag, Ichendorf, Living Divani, L’Abitare, Mogg, Oluce.

Oluce was founded in 1945 and is one of Italy's oldest design companies, focused on the illumination sector, which still continues to operate and manufacturer today. Oluce produces iconic lamps, with high design qualities which are timeless and suit a lifetime of generations. The pieces use aesthetic and technological investigation, to transcend fashion styles. 

Oluce lighting has become an essential part of homes and offices they furnish and illuminate. Together with an extensive catalogue of lighting, Oluce is also dedicated to producing products which are made to measure and bespoke. The customisation service was launched in 2015, with the aim to enhance consumer lighting experiences.
