Calamaio is an adaptable desk lamp designed to bring light precisely where needed, featuring a rotating head mounted on a mobile structure. Crafted entirely from metal, it consists of two slim cylindrical stems connected by a pivot that enables the lamp head's orientation. Positioned at the lamp's end, the LED light source generates a focused light beam.

The body of Calamaio is affixed to a spherical element resting on a circular base, allowing for expansive rotation. Its modern design follows the flow of pure and essential forms, inviting interaction with the user.

Revolving stem with adjustable reflector. With on/off switch. Available in Scarlet Red, Mustard Yellow & Satin Black Nickel.

A new collaboration born from the meeting of three young Italian creatives chosen by Oluce during the academic course of Lighting Design at Sapienza University. A union that places different disciplines side by side and bases its identity on the development of pure and essential forms, keeping constant the search for a union between tradition and technology, a great passion for design while maintaining the attention towards a correct industrialization of each product.

Oluce was founded in 1945 and is one of Italy's oldest design companies, focused on the illumination sector, which still continues to operate and manufacturer today. Oluce produces iconic lamps, with high design qualities which are timeless and suit a lifetime of generations. The pieces use aesthetic and technological investigation, to transcend fashion styles. 

Oluce lighting has become an essential part of homes and offices they furnish and illuminate. Together with an extensive catalogue of lighting, Oluce is also dedicated to producing products which are made to measure and bespoke. The customisation service was launched in 2015, with the aim to enhance consumer lighting experiences.
