Cu-Clock is a wall clock that draws its inspiration from the classic cuckoo clock that are famous for their rich ornaments and decorations. Naoto Fukasawa has created a contemporary reimagining of the classic design idealizing its shape and using a modern material. With its minimal design it gives your environment a humorous touch and surprises with a lovely bird sound at every full hour. The battery powered clock is in injection-moulded ABS.

Naoto Fukasawa
After having worked at IDEO in the United States, Fukasawa became the director of IDEO’s Tokyo office until 2003 when he established his studio NAOTO FUKASAWA DESIGN. With his designs devoted to simplicity and sublime beauty, Fukasawa is collaborating with globally renowned brands as well as consulting for major international manufacturers. He won numerous awards for projects that are part of the permanent collection of some of the most important museums in the world. In 2007, he was accorded the title of Honorary Royal Designer for Industry (Royal Society of Arts, UK).
