The beautiful and classic glass lamp, Model 343, was designed in 1962 by Gunnar Biilmann-Petersen, a graphic designer with a remarkable eye for color. This lamp was specifically created for our iconic, hand-folded lampshades and is a stylish choice for any interior.
The lamp base is crafted from transparent glass, where the cord is elegantly highlighted as a bold exclamation mark, adding a graphic touch to the design. Today, Model 343 is available in two stunning color variants: green with a brass detail and a smoked version with a black top. Both color combinations merge classic Danish design with a contemporary expression.
Paper: The paper provides a warmer light and can gently be cleaned using a soft brush. The lampshade has a long lifetime and will develop a beautiful golden patina over the years.
Plastic Foil: Our foil has a long durability, provides a more even light transmission, and is easy to clean. The film is UV-resistant and antistatic, and it maintains its white color for many years.

Gunnar Biilmann Petersen
Gunnar Biilmann Petersen is one of the most important figures in the history of Danish design. He trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School of Decorative Art and went on to work as an architect. However, his most prominent contribution to the world of art was in the field of graphic arts. His work is eclectic, ranging from graphics, posters, bank notes and company logos to the layout of Jens Olsen's World Clock in Copenhagen City Hall.
