The Yuma desert stretches between the USA and northern Mexico and is revived in the design culture of the designer, David Pompa. The polished brass body of the lamp constantly reflects and changes everything around it, conjuring up the dunes that disappear into infinity, never alike. The magic of oases and mirages returns in the refraction of the rough, textured glass.

David Pompa was born in 1986 in Austria, from an Austrian mother & a Mexican father, he grew up between Mexico and Austria. In 2005 he attended the higher technical College of design in Ferlach and in 2008 David has achieved a Master of Arts and Design at Kingston University, London and founds "studio davidpompa" in Austria. Than he started working with "barro negro" in Oaxaca. David awarded rising talent M&O Paris and rising talent M&O Americas – Miami. In 2016 exhibited for the first time at Salone Satellite Milan.
