Armchair with curved 3D seat shell
The Q/Wood armchair by Kartell is a timeless and elegant chair with armrests, which becomes an eye-catcher both alone and with several people at the dining table. The chair convinces with its soft curves and filigree legs. Q/Wood was designed by Philippe Starck as part of the Smart Wood series. The series includes seats with wooden seat shells, which are optimally bent with innovative 3D technology and thus adapt perfectly to the body.
"With the Smart Wood collection, we have shifted the paradigm. It is no longer a matter of building the structure with wooden elements, but of the wood itself bending and becoming a three-dimensional seat." Claudio Luti (President of the Cartel)
