Foliage collection is a family of soft chairs. The key players are a two-seater sofa and an armchair, that seem to have grown "naturally": the frame provides support for a comfortable seat reminiscent of the crown of a tree, with top-stitched leaves.

Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, Spain. She studied at the Faculdad de Arquitectura de Madrid and the Politecnico di Milano, where she graduated with a thesis having Achille Castiglioni as supervisor. In 1993 he opened an associate studio with M. De Renzio and E. Ramerino, dealing with architectural design, interiors, showrooms and restaurants. From 1996 to 2000 she coordinated the design group of Studio Lissoni Associati. In 2001 she founded a personal studio, devoting herself mainly to design, fittings and architecture.
