The bark of an old oak tree in a Danish forest, was the source of inspiration for Bowl 1402. What is hiding behind the furrowed surface is left to the imagination. The bowl is designed to be filled with sweets and could resemble a smal bark arm trying to grab or catch the hand trying to steal from it.
This unique hollowware piece is designed by Allan Scharff.
Materials: Sterling Silver
Size : H: 11 cm / Ø: 10.5 cm
At first glance, Allan Scharff ’s simple pieces could not be more different from the romantic, arts and craft style of Georg Jensen. However, they both spring from the same source, nature. Georg Jensen always claimed that nature was his greatest inspiration. The same is true for Scharff.
