The man behind the collection was Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte – and ever since the launch in the 1930s the products have come to symbolize Scandinavian aesthetics and craftsmanship.

The Bernadotte salad serving set is made from stainless steel. It has been polished by hand to ensure the best finish.

  • Steel does not exist in native form but is a metal alloy manufactured mainly from iron. All stainless steel products are hand-polished, which is a rather time consuming process performed by only the most skilled craftsmen. 18/8 (13% chromium, 10% nickel, 72% steel). Georg Jensen’s stainless steel home décor, tableware and cutlery are all made of this quality.
