This refined porcelain ovenware piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail for easy handling. It is part of the Bernadotte collection, named after Swedish designer Sigvard Bernadotte, renowned for modernising silver craftsmanship through functionalist principles. The ovenware has been tested to withstand temperatures up to 300°C / 572°F.
Swedish royal prince Sigvard Bernadotte was one of Georg Jensen’s very first collaborators in design. His work brought together an appreciation of true craftsmanship with a totally modern eye and he is recognised for his role in taking the house from Art Nouveau to a more functionalist, Scandinavian style. His timeless work has inspired today’s Bernadotte tableware collection.
