Chasen suspension lamp provides diffused lighting using a chemically photo-etched stainless steel body and borosilicate diffuser. Liquid paint protection. Die-cast aluminum base, 30% fiberglass-reinforced polyamide ceiling rose attached to a pressed and galvanized steel ceiling fixture. The light emission can be adjusted by means of a mechanical movement that opens the louvers, thereby varying the shape & size of the fitting. Steel suspension cable, FEP/PVC power cord.

Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, Spain. She studied at the Faculdad de Arquitectura de Madrid and the Politecnico di Milano, where she graduated with a thesis having Achille Castiglioni as supervisor. In 1993 he opened an associate studio with M. De Renzio and E. Ramerino, dealing with architectural design, interiors, showrooms and restaurants. From 1996 to 2000 she coordinated the design group of Studio Lissoni Associati. In 2001 she founded a personal studio, devoting herself mainly to design, fittings and architecture.
