Eva Solo Abalone Oak w Leather Lounge Chair
Chairs are often placed so they are viewed from behind. The designers behind Tools® embraced this idea to achieve the Abalone lounge chair. Many lounge chairs have the same shape on the outside as on the inner surface where one sits, but Abalone has a hard surface on the outside in the form of 3D moulded oak veneer, and a soft inner side of moulded foam under leather upholstery.
The 3D moulded veneer gives the lounge chair a beautifully curved, well-conceived back. And the soft inner surface makes the lounge chair comfortable to sit on for a long time. In other words, Abalone has an organic shape on the outside and a soft inner surface like the Asian clam of the same name. The Abalone Lounge Chair was designed with ample space to pull up one legs.
