The Proust kids tableware set consists of a flat plate, a bowl and a cup made of porcelain, adorned with a colourful speckled design. It doesn’t look out of place in any setting, and adapts perfectly to the table and tableware for adults.
The set is made of painted porcelain. The shape of the dishes is adapted to small children and can easily be held by little hands. The cups are have two handles, which facilitates its use by children, whose motor skills have not yet fully developed. The flat plate has a slightly raised rim to provide more space and to be easily gripped by children. The bowl is suitable for pasta or soup. All containers are dishwasher-proof and suitable for the microwave and the oven

Alessandro Mendini
Alessandro Mendini (1931-2019), architect, was born in Milan. He directed the magazines Casabella, Modo, Domus and he collaborated with international companies and was a consultant for various industries, including those in the East Asia. He was awarded the Compasso d'oro Prize for design (1979-1981-2014). He was appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in France and he achieved the Architectural League of New York and the Laurea Honoris Causa at the universities of Milan, Paris, Wroclaw, Seoul. His works can be found in various museums and private collections.
